Unedited, no filter pure placenta perfection. Mum and baby boy are doing wonderful.
This mama had meconium present when her waters broke so you will notice a yellowish tinge where the cord inserts. This photo was taken after I removed the amnion membrane (the membrane closest to baby) so the chorion membrane the outer membrane is what you are looking at here. Not as heavy stained.
Cord insertion is off centre but not on the edge either and this is called Eccentric Cord Insertion.
640g completely intact, this placenta gave mama 146 Traditional Chinese Method prepared capsules a fantastic effort.
@shelbtm is an absolutely beautiful person inside and out.
We shared the birth on my fourth baby and now I can give something special in return. She holds a very special place in our hearts and will forever be grateful she is a part of what was a perfect day for us ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Surface vessels cover the surface like branches on a tree. Or so I once believed…our eggs ‘implant’ in our womb like a seed in the earth. To me Placenta is like the roots of a tree, drawing nutrients from the mother, the cord a Trunk carrying life to the baby. I still adore the tree of life reference

How incredible is Breastmilk 💕

Full Circle Nurture DNA Jewellery and @veritysoaps have collaborated to offer Breastmilk Soap

It is incredible, it has no nasties, fragrance free and made locally by Rose Eve in Toowoomba.

Any amount of Breastmilk can be used so if you have ample supply or little supply you can definitely have Breastmilk soap made.

The colour is divine

My sensitive skinned boys are loving their ‘Boobie soap’ and their scrapes and bruises from being ‘Captain Risky’ and’Dangermouse’ are healing so much faster now we use this soap.

Breastmilk needs to be frozen or at the very lease cold to be turned into soap, this is so any bacteria that may develop from being left in the elements won’t be passed on to the soap and then onto baby.

So local collection is fine, but if you live outside of Toowoomba a courier and some well packaged dry ice will do the trick too

Real-ness!! My youngest has a comfort thing where he rubs his ‘ruggy’ my Kmart cardie between it’s fingers or rubs his face, or when he is really upset I have to cup his ears to calm him. But this morning after being told not to pick up the ‘outside ants’ (Green ants) he pick one up anyway and is now not a happy boy. So I look down to see him pinching my boob skin 🤔 I couldn’t really feel it but it comforted him while we cuddle and learn about dinosaurs. Got me thinking…I am yet to see a post on social media about all that extra boob skin we get from our journeys. I have breastfed 4 children for a collective total of almost 8 years and been pregnant 8 times. I am not fit, and I’m about a size 16. I have a healthy body image so I’m quite comfortable with how I look. Still this boob skin had me wondering why no one talks about it or probably more accurately did I miss a boob skin post somewhere?
